Grey Necromancer: Book 3 in the Grey Necromancer Trilogy

The Al-corian medical guild, an organization that looks after the healthcare of trillions in the interstellar empire, is probably the greatest bastion of scientific knowledge in the known universe. Running countless schools, clinics, hospitals and temples, it is also sometimes known as "The Great Paradox".

Finn (the renamed Aktun, because of his membership into a tribe) ends up going to Baldera on the demand of a ghost physician. Located at an interstellar crossroads, Baldera is a planet that has a strong guild presence. Thousands head there from neighbouring star systems seeking medical care. Baldera is a world filled with technological wonders, but also odd anachronistic contradictions.

It is on this odd water world that Finn has to face the guild with all its traditions, challenges and contradictions. Although an organization made up of decent and hardworking members, it nevertheless has some odd and somewhat questionable characters. It is through his interaction with some of these guild members that he ends up confronting some of the guild's deadly sworn-enemies and unfortunately runs into an enemy from his own past as well.

Confronted by enemies on all sides, and without the support of family or old friends, Finn has to unfortunately accept help from a ghost that seems to have ulterior motives in guiding him. An entity that has powers over life, death and other unimaginable things.

Will Finn manage to survive Baldera and the guild or will he end up losing everything that he is?
